The UberEATS Pop-Up Kitchen

 

The UberEATS Pop-Up Kitchen is a first-of-its-kind program that will help foster new restaurant concepts in Toronto. Here’s what participants will receive:

Access to a professional kitchen.

Those who are chosen to participate will get access to a fully-equipped commercial kitchen in downtown Toronto, complete with gas burners, ovens, deep fryers, and a large walk-in fridge. To help these new businesses get started, UberEATS will cover the rental fee for the month of May.


Professional training and development. 

Budding restaurateurs will be mentored by some of the top food and hospitality professionals in Toronto. Throughout the month, they’ll receive regular guidance on everything they need to run a successful restaurant business; everything from menu planning to real estate, from controlling food costs to delivering an outstanding dine-in experience.

Every one of our chosen participants will be featured in the UberEATS app, giving them access to tens of thousands of hungry Torontonians. We’ll waive the activation fee and work with them to develop the most compelling menu offering based on the data we have regarding consumer preferences. The best part? Restaurant owners will get to keep all of their earnings on UberEATS, less our regular fee for delivery services.
